Ochia

As some of the only flying Krukorans, Ochians often take up jobs as messengers and mail carriers. Their ability to fly greatly assists in this, as it allows them to travel without being impeded by ground traffic. Most, if not all, Ochians are at least partially blind, so they rely on echolocation to find their way. This also means they usually work in the nighttime and aren’t very keen on bright lights.

The Lovers’ Bridge of Cherkhenri is the setting for an Ochian folk tale centering around a tragic Romeo-and-Juliet-esque love story in which a couple jumped off the bridge to their deaths in order to cement their love story into the public conscious. Needless to say, it worked.

Ochian magic users are able to control the element of love. This mainly manifests as the ability to make others fall in love, though usually the effect is temporary. Their magic isn’t solely limited to romantic love, though. It can also affect platonic and familial love, among others.
