Robrid

Robridians are known for their physical strength and toughness. Many are hired as bodyguards by important/wealthy Krukorans. Robridians who are not lucky enough to get paid hefty sums for their strength usually end up in professions that require a lot of manual labor, such as construction or farming.

The Sisim Stones are a set of increasingly heavy boulders located in Sisim, the very last of which is said to have only ever been lifted off the ground by Robrid, the deity of strength, themself. The Sisim Stones are a rite of passage for young adult Robridians, even though they have never been successfully completed by any mortal Krukoran. Queen Joan, the current king’s great-great-grandmother, decreed during her reign that any Robridian citizen who could fully lift the final stone off the ground would be crowned the new monarch of Robrid, regardless of status. That decree stands to this day, as no one has lifted the final stone yet.

Robridian magic users are able to control the element of strength. Some can manipulate their own strength, and others can manipulate the strength of others, though none can do both. Many Krukorans (Robridian or otherwise) see using this magic as cheating, especially when it comes to rites such as the Sisim Stones. There isn’t really any way to tell if someone can use magic though.
